Fairymead House is Bundaberg’s most exclusive wedding, meeting and special events venue.
The charming residence, built towards the end of the nineteenth century is a centerpiece attraction located in the picturesque surrounds of the Botanic Gardens. Architecturally representative of the Colonial era, this former Sugar Mill Manager’s residence/family home boasts the graciously appointed Stan Lohse Function Room which caters to those with discerning tastes and a desire to host a memorable event.
The residence was presented to the people of Bundaberg in 1988 by Bundaberg Sugar Ltd as a gift to celebrate Australia’s bicentenary. The residence and surrounding gardens are superbly appointed to cater to functions either inside or externally on the expansive front or rear lawns. Photographic opportunities abound in the precincts of the residence or at the Japanese and Nanning (Chinese) Gardens which are located within minutes of Fairymead House.
