The Twenties Artists - Necia Rosevear

Necia Rosevear is a talented potter from Bundaberg. Necia will be exhibiting a selection of ceramic pieces inspired by the iconic designs that emerged from the Bauhaus school of design in Germany. 

The Twenties Artists - Emily Meredith

Emily Meredith is a jeweller based in Bargara. Emily will be exhibiting jewellery made from second hand and found objects, inspired by the controversial readymades of the Dada Movement.

The Twenties artist - Marlies Oakley

Marlies Oakley is a collage artist from Bundaberg who loves working with recycled materials such as old books and magazines. Marlies will be exhibiting a series of collage’s inspired by the avant-garde collages that were created throughout Europe during the 1920s.

The Twenties artist - Adrienne Williams

Adrienne Williams is a landscape painter based in Elliott Heads. Adrienne will be exhibiting hand coloured, lino-cut prints to honour the historical legacy of artists, such as Margaret Preston and Vera Scarth -Johnson, who celebrated Australia’s native flora and natural areas.

The Twenties artists - Trevor Spohr

Trevor Spohr is an artist from Maryborough who works across many mediums. However, he is best known for his ceramic work, which he has been making and exhibiting since the 1980s. With a love of found objects, antiques and collectibles, Trevor’s work is frequently inspired by the past.

The Twenties Artist - Sean Fisher

Sean ‘Fish’ Fisher is a motorbike enthusiast who designs and custom builds his own motorcycles. Fish will be displaying one of his bikes, which is inspired by the 1920s and this early era in motorcycle history.

The Twenties artists - Elizabeth Hersey

Elizabeth Hersey is a sculptor from Hervey Bay. Elizabeth is known for beautifully capturing Australian wildlife in bronze. Elizabeth is also inspired by the clean and bold design lines from the art deco movement.

Julie Appo is an artist and fashion designer from Bundaberg. Julie is a Gooreng Gooreng woman and will be exhibiting classic garments inspired by the iconic fashion era of the 1920s.

The Twenties artists - Tomas O'Malley

Tomas O’Malley is a Bundaberg based architect. For this exhibition Tomas will be drawing inspiration from the art deco buildings that are peppered throughout Bundaberg.

Linda Ford Millinery creates beautiful ready-to-wear and bespoke headpieces and hats from her home-based studio in Bundaberg. Linda adores working with quality materials and will be exhibiting a selection of hats and headpieces inspired by the iconic designs of the 1920s.

Jan De Mattia is a talented glass artist who runs her own leadlight studio in Bundaberg. Art Deco has been an enduring inspiration for Jan and she will be exhibiting a selection of glass lamps.

Sabrina Lauriston is a professional photographer and artist from Bargara. Sabrina is inspired by the experimental photography of the 1920’s and will producing a selection of black and white film photographs for the exhibition.
